One of the many benefits of selling through auction is the properties selling quickly and most often for more than the Guide Price (Starting Bid).
Below are three recent examples of this;
Example 1: The property sold in Gosport, Hampshire had a starting bid of £145,000 and sold for £161,260! It attracted 13 viewings and 4 bids!
Example 2: A property in South Sea Hampshire, sold for double the starting bid! After 30 viewings and 36 bids, what an exceptional result!
Example 3: Another property in Gosport, Hampshire had a starting bid of £195,000 and after 11 viewings and 3 bids, ended up selling for £233,000!
Many of our successful partner agents highlight that the attractive marketing price associated with auction properties typically generates a high level of enquiries. This month we have also sold many non-typical auction properties, that is, properties that don’t fit into the stereotypical auction mould. However, we can’t stress enough that most, if not all, properties can be sold at auction.
